Colin Drake's New Book Is a Modern Spiritual Classic

An invisible obstacle blocks spiritual seekers when they approach non-duality. The greatest service a teacher can offer is to point out with vivid clarity and shocking directness the utter simplicity of the work they have embraced.
The seeker by definition will continue seeking. Rarely does the seeker realize that the very act of seeking instantly removes them from the possibility of enlightenment. In spite of well-intentioned advice like "be here now" the seeker plows bravely on, convinced that his or her liberation awaits.
The extraordinary gift that Colin Drake brings to the table is a unique talent for simplicity. Albert Einstein once said "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." Einstein could have been describing Colin's new book "The Simplicity of Awakening."
Colin aptly uses the term "pointers" in the subtitle. If somebody is looking for their glasses and they've got them hanging on a chain around their neck, then they already have their eyeglasses even though they are looking for them. All you have to do is point to their eyeglasses (akin to the Zen finger pointing to the moon). If that fails -- and it usually does -- then you strive as resourcefully as you can to point out the self-evident truth that their passionate search for their glasses somewhere else than right here is the very thing that is preventing them from finding their glasses!

It's incredibly effective, given that nearly 7 billion people on planet earth have fallen for it. Do you know what it is? Please pause for a moment and ask yourself what this potent trick could be.
