About the Author
Jason Galster developed an interest in hearing aid research as an under-graduate in the late 1990's. This interest lead him to a B.S. and M.S. from Purdue University and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Galster's research interests have spanned topics that include acoustic signal processing, room acoustics, pediatrics, and most recently, investigating methods for interpreting individual variability in the outcomes of patients with hearing aids. Today, he leads a team of research audiologists. Several times each year, Dr. Galster teaches courses on hearing aids to audiology students both inside and outside of the United States.

Amazing!

This book is a great way to review current literature on hearing aids. The authors make easy reading from articles. They pull together ideas from many sources to make things easier to understand. This text is good for students, audiologists, hearing instrument dispensers and anyone interested in hearing aids. It allows for easy evidence based practice clinical decisions!
